The New York Institute of Philosophy is a research center within New York University's Department of Philosophy. It sponsors public lectures, multi-year projects, conferences, and workshops in philosophy, as well as outreach programs to teach philosophy to New York City high school students. The institute is part of NYU's philosophy department, which is ranked first in the United States and globally for philosophy.
