The Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions at Illinois Institute of Technology was founded in 1976 as the first interdisciplinary center focused on ethics in the professions. It conducts research on ethics in areas like life sciences and emerging technologies, works to integrate ethics education across Illinois Tech's curriculum, and maintains a unique collection of professional codes of ethics from around the world.
